Trish's little Copy Shoppe is a simple solution for those who want high-quality laser printing for less time, energy and money.

 

Supporting creators, community-members and home-based businesses in the South Shuswap, Chase & North Shore, Trish blends the convenience of remotely uploading your files and 'done-for-you' service with the practicality of (almost) daily pick up options from a central location in Sorrento!

  Place Your Order

The Copy Shoppe charges per page plus a flat rate service fee of $4.50 per order.
Prices include applicable taxes.

Digital files for each order are deleted permanently within 24 hours of pick up.

Orders not picked up within 14 days from order date will be shredded and charges applied to the credit card on file.

When do I need to place my order?

When you place your order by 1:00pm, Trish can provide (almost) next day pick up!

CURRENT PICK UP DATES / TIMES:

— Mondays, 10:30am-12:30pm
— Wednesday, 10:30am-12:30pm
— Thursday, 10:30am-12:30pm
— Friday, 10:30am-12:30pm

Example:  An order placed on Tuesday @ 11am (PST) will be ready for pick up on WEDNESDAY between 10:30am-12:30pm.

Example: An order placed on Saturday @ 3pm (PST) will be ready for pick up on MONDAY, between 10:30am-12:30pm

 

 

What kinds of paper can I print on?

Trish's Copy Shoppe offers:

— Standard REGULAR White & Ivory + Pale Pink, Mint Green, Baby Blue, Mellow Yellow (20lb)

— Standard NEON, Pink, Green, Yellow, Orange (27lb)

— Cardstock LITE, (65-67lb) in White & Ivory

— Cardstock MEDIUM (110lb) in White & Ivory

*Some options may become available in the future, however, at this time, Trish's Copy Shoppe does not accept projects involving, photo paper, heavy cardstock (>110lb), labels or larger formats (11x17). 

Does the Copy Shoppe charge more than other print options?

It depends on whether you are comparing apples to apples.

Trish's Copy Shoppe is a local solution for simple printing projects, it is a remote upload, 'done-for-you' service so it isn't the same as DIY options.

— The cost per page is competitive with what you would pay for DIY printing at Staples (or equal alternative)

— There is a $4.50 service fee applied for each upload/order to cover Trish's time retrieving the files, setting up and printing and then pick up.

Trish's market research revealed the average project would cost between $15 to $85 (print costs PLUS time/travel/fuel to & from comparable alternatives).

Do you offer design support?

If you need help creating your printed materials Trish has a graphic designer that you can work with. 

She doesn't manage the process, she simply makes the introduction and let's you work out the details independently.

Do I have to pay by credit card / online?

All first time customers need to pay by credit card, after that your card is stored as a backup payment option.

Customers with high frequency can create an account, which will invoiced on the 1st and 15th over each month and paid within three days using debit or cash at the time of pick up, or e-transfer.

In the event invoices go unpaid for longer than 7 days, outstanding charges will be billed to the credit card on file.

 

Terms of Service

This agreement governs your use of our services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

— We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

— You must be of legal age in the province of British Columbia to use this service.

—  You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities that occur under your account.

— All content, features, and functionality on our platform—including text, graphics, logos, and software—are the exclusive property of Trish Murray operating as The Copy Shoppe and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws.

— You agree not to use the service to engage in any unlawful activities, infringe upon intellectual property rights, transmit malicious software, or harass other users. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these rules

— To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trish Murray, operating as The Copy Shoppe, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the service.

• Services Rendered.

The Copy Shoppe agrees to perform specific printing services as detailed in work order (Order Form and Remote File Upload). Standard deliverables under this Agreement include, but are not limited to, the quality reproduction of digital assetsm, such as marketing brochures, business cards, flyers, and banners etc., and the user agrees that "Services Rendered" shall be legally defined as the successful completion of the print project and formal transfer of the physical assets to the user at a pre-set pick date/time.
 
Any materials not retrieved within 14 days of the order date will be shredded and disposed of and service fees charged to the users credit card on file.
 

• Errors/Omissions

The user assumes full responsibility for the accuracy of all content, layout, design, and specifications upon approval of the final digital file.
 
The Copy Shoppe shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions—including, but not limited to, typographical errors, formatting issues, low-resolution imagery, or incorrect color matching—that were present in the digital asset. Accepted file formats (PDF, JPG, PNG) limit the extent to which formatting issues could occur. We do not accept Word, Excel, Powerpoint documents for the very reason that formatting will change from computer to computer. The user is responsible for ensuring files uploaded are virus free. Any damage caused by viruses is the responsibility of the user.
 
In the event that a manufacturing error or omission is solely caused by the Copy Shoppe after printing, the user must notify the Copy Shoppe in writing within ONE business day of receipt of printed materials.
 
Trish Murray, operating as The Copy Shoppe extends limited liability, specifically a complimentary reprint of the defective portion of the order or, a credit toward future services.
 
Under no circumstances shall Trish Murray, operating as The Copy Shoppe, be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business or profits, harm to reputation, brand or organization.
 
It is the sole responsibility of the User to ensure their printed material is exact to the digital file provided, prior to distribution.
 
——— The User's digital file acts as a 'Final Proof'
——— The User has ONE business day from pick up of printed material to advise of errors/omissions and the full extent of the remedy in such cases is a reprint at no charge, or a credit toward future services
——— Remedy is capped at the original value of the order and Trish Murray, operating as The Copy Shoppe, will not be responsible for any consequential damages.
 

• Data security and encryption rests with the user and third-party platforms (ie: Google, Square, Hubspot), not between user and Trish Murray, operating as The Copy Shoppe

— We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

— These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Trish Murray, operating as The Copy Shoppe, (the "Site", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.
 
1. Information We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device to create an easy and seamless user experience.
 
When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, and email address using third-party providers that have proven to be trustworthy.
 
2. Third-Party Payment Processing
We do not collect or store your full payment card details. All payments are securely processed by our third-party payment processor, Square.
 
Your payment information is collected and processed directly by these third parties. Their use of your personal information is governed by their respective privacy policies. 
 
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the order information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site. This includes:
  • Processing your payment information
  • Arranging for shipping and providing invoices/order confirmations
  • Receiving digital files (through Apple Email or Google Upload), files are permanently deleted within 24 hours of your order completion (ie: pick up)
  • Communicating with you
  • Screening orders for potential risk or fraud
4. Sharing Your Personal Information
We share your personal information with trusted third parties to help us use your information, as described above. 
 
Finally, we may also share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
 
5. Your Rights
